According to the list of candidates announced by the Billboard Music Awards on its website, BTS has been nominated for the ŌĆ£Top Duo/GroupŌĆØ and ŌĆ£Top Social ArtistŌĆØ categories like last year. BTS competes with Dan + Shay, Jonas Brothers, Maroon 5, and Panic at the Disco in the ŌĆ£Top Duo/Group category.ŌĆØ In the ŌĆ£Top Social ArtistŌĆØ category, Korean groups EXO and GOT7 were also nominated, while Billie Eilish and Ariana Grande were also included. If BTS wins Top Duo/Group this year, the group will become the first group or duo to win back-to-back awards in the coveted category since One Direction in 2016, according to Billboard. BTS has also picked up Top Social Artist at the award ceremony for the past 3 years. This yearŌĆÖs Billboard Music Awards will be held at Dolby Theater at 8 p.m. on Oct. 14 EST and will be broadcast live on NBC.
