The film is based on Anne SerreŌĆÖs novel of the same name. The story follows three rebellious governesses who upend the family in which they serve, inspiring the boys in their care, kindling the imaginations of the bohemian couple who employ them and abandoning their duties for sensual adventures. The Squid Game actress made her acting debut in the Netflix smash-hit series and her career has taken off since then. She will also be joining the cast of Alfonso CuaronŌĆÖs upcoming Apple TV Plus thriller series Disclaimer, working alongside Cate Blanchett and Kevin Kline.
